I believe that promoting our love of the shooting sports to the uninitiated is paramount in protecting our right to keep and use the firearms we currently enjoy. I am an NRA life member and certified NRA instructor who is happy to provide instruction to anyone who would like to learn regardless of their current level of knowledge. If I am unable to provide the instruction desired I will find someone who can.
My history with firearms started when I was young and was given my first BB gun. An interest in learning to hunt promoted a love for wing shooting. Through the years hunting expanded to include competition in everything from shotguns, rifles, handguns and any combination thereof.
When I entered college, I was prompted with my love of firearms to work with a gunsmith doing everything from basic repair to refinishing work. I graduated college with a technical engineering degree, entered a new job, got married, had children and, as usually happens, didn't have as much time to give to my shooting past time. As the years progressed, life has given back some time allowing me to again pursue my love of firearms.
After many years of being involved in the shooting sports, assisting shooters of all ages and abilities, I have decided to work toward making what has so far been a hobby into a profession.
In pursuit of this goal, I have furthered my firearms education with both online and hands-on classes leading me to acquire factory certification for Cerakote and Hydrographic film application. As the weather warms up here in the north east, I'll hopefully be able to add some of the more traditional finishing methods.
I've also worked on reviving long unused machining skills because of a love for older firearms. This allows me to fabricate parts that may no longer be available.
I look forward to working with your firearm and will do everything in my power to earn your trust in continuing to provide you with the best service and products possible.
Thank you.
Brian
